Current Position:

I am the Speech Communication teacher at A.C. Jones High School.

2017-2018 is my third full school year teaching at A.C. Jones.  I began teaching here on January 5, 2015.

I have taught the following courses:

  • Communication Applications (course not offered after Spring 2016)
  • Oral Interpretation I (course not offered after Spring 2017)

My course load for 2017-2018 will contain:

  • High School Teen Leadership
  • Professional Communications
  • Debate I & II

I also offer:

  • Debate III (no one eligible to offer to in 2017-2018)

Previous Position:

This is my first full-time teaching job, but before this, I have been a Substitute Teacher for BISD on and off for 4 years.

Family Information:

I married my best friend, Andrea, on December 20, 2008.

We do have a Jack Chi mix-breed dog named Callie, a Dachshund named Quincy, a black cat named Coal, and a white kitten named Sweety.

This year, my wife and I are focused on going through the foster parenting process and hope to become foster parents over the summer.

Personal Information:

When not teaching, I enjoy disc golf, walking, bowling, and video games.

Television shows I enjoy are:  Game of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory, Arrow, WWE Monday Night Raw, Lucha Underground, Once Upon A Time, Family Guy, Full House & Fuller House.

Music Genres that I enjoy are:  Christian Contemporary, Country, Rock, 90s Pop Music, 70s & 80s Hair Bands
