Mrs. Ewing received a Bachelor of Arts in December 2002 from Texas A&M University in Kingsville, Texas.
Mrs. Ewing earned a Master of Science in Education in June 2012 from Walden University. She is a certified Principal and T-TESS Appraiser. She maintains valid teaching certifications in English, Special Education, and English as a Second Language.
Mrs. Ewing began her teaching career at Calallen ISD as an English I & II teacher at Calallen High School in January 2003 and eventually became the Teacher of Record at Calallen High School’s DAEP program before assuming the role of Junior High School Special Education Inclusion Teacher in 2011-2012 at Odem-Edroy ISD. Mrs. Ewing began her administrative career in 2012-2013 as an Assistant Principal at Odem Junior High School before being promoted to Principal at Odem High School in 2013-2014.

Mrs. Ewing is married to Craig Ewing, former Band Director from Calallen High School. They have 6 children and two grandsons. When she’s not at work, Mrs. Ewing enjoys playing Scrabble on her iPhone.
On August 5, my family and I traveled to Austin, Texas and auditioned for the Family Feud. Even though Steve Harvey was not there, we had a blast competing against another family. We hope to get a post card soon letting us know we’re IN!
