I started teaching at A. C. Jones High School in the spring of 2017 as a Special Education Inclusion teacher.
I accepted the position of High School Special Education Department Head at the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year.
I began my teaching career at Calallen High School in the DAEP.
I left there to teach in a general education classroom at Taft High School where I taught Biology, Aquatics and Anatomy & Physiology.
From Taft I went to Odem-Edroy High School where I taught English.
I was recruited to teach in the best school district, Beeville, in 2017.
I live with my husband of 31 years, Sam. We have 6 children and 10 grandchildren, none of whom live in Texas, so we spend our vacations visiting them in California, Alaska, Michigan and Iowa.
I have lived in three of the greatest states in our union: Michigan, Alaska and Texas.
I love gardening and traveling and have visited over half of all the United States as well as many Canadian an Mexican Provinces/States. I have visited three continents and have four more to go.
