I attended Pettus ISD, where I graduated with my high school diploma, in 2010. A year earlier then I was supposed to. I then proceeded to work and take college courses at Coastal Bend College where I graduated with my Associates of Arts in May of 2014. I then went on to finish out my Bachelor’s of Liberal Arts at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, where I majored in English.
B.A of Liberal Arts.
I was hired on to the Beeville ISD staff in January of 2019 to teach English 4. I am returning to teach English 2 & 3 for my first full year of teaching.
While this is my first year teaching, this is not my first career. I put myself through school while working in the oilfield, doing a variety of different jobs ranging from a Derrick man on a workover rig, to a Bull Dozer Operator at a land fill. Through these various job opportunities, I was asked to teach new hires on the job sites. I have been teaching, in a sense, for 6 years and look forward to continue teaching in the classroom.
I married at a young age, and have been happily married since 2013 to my beautiful wife. Together we have two kids. My oldest is my son, and he will be six this year. My youngest is my daughter, who will turn four this year. They will be attending Kinder, and Pre-Kinder this year.
When I am not teaching in the classroom, I will be teaching in the gym and on the field. As I am also an assistant coach to baseball, and basketball.
