I graduated from Ingleside High School in 2009 as a member of the National Honor Society and Best All Around Senior, thanks to my amazing teachers! Then I attended Texas State University for my bachelor’s and master’s degrees. I majored in international studies for both degrees, taking political science, history, and geography courses, while minoring in social work. I graduated cum laude. I later attended Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and enrolled in instructional communication and education courses in order to complete my Social Studies 7-12 Certification.

I began my teaching career with A.C. Jones High School, and I feel so lucky for it! Prior to this, my classroom experience was college related, I was an Instructional Assistant for the Political Science Department at Texas State University.
