This is my first year at AC Jones HS and my first year with Beeville ISD.  I will be teaching Accounting 1, Accounting 2 and Financial Math. 

My educational career started in 2001.  I was a teacher/coach at King High School in Corpus Christi TX. My coaching career included coaching multiple athletic sports and academic activities.  I served as an assistant coach and defensive coordinator in football, an assistant boys basketball coach, and as the Head Coach for the Boys and Girls wrestling team.  
I was the UIL Sponsor for the Accounting Team for eight years and served as the UIL Academic Coordinator for three years. 
I have taught a multitude of courses in CTE.  My focus through my teaching career has been Business/Finance.  While at King HS I was able to start a QuickBooks Certification Program in which students were able to obtain an industry certification in QuickBooks.  QuickBooks is the industry leader in small business software.  We partnered with Del Mar College and students earned Dual Credit for Accounting 2301 (Financial Accounting) and Accounting 2302 (Managerial Accounting).  Several students also obtained the VITA certification and volunteered at the Del Mar VITA site.  The VITA program offers free tax filling assistance for individuals filing basic tax returns. 
I have worked as an administrator in a High School setting and worked as a trainer at the Education Service Center Region 2.  I am currently teaching adjunct courses at Del Mar College including Business Math, Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting.
