I am a 2006 graduate of A.C. Jones High School. After high school, I continued my education at Texas A&M University – Kingsville where I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. Upon completion of my degree, I received my teaching certification in Physical Education EC-12, as well as Mathematics 8-12.
This year will be my 11th year in education and my second year with A.C. Jones High School. I will be teaching Geometry and am the Head Cross Country and Head Girl’s Basketball coach. I am excited to be teaching and coaching at my Alma Mater!
A.C. Jones is my 4th stop in my 11 year educational career. I began my career at Alice ISD where I was a P.E. Coach my first year, and then became a 7th grade math teacher the follwoing year. I soon spread my wings and recieved a new position at Sinton ISD where I taught Algebra 1 and 2, as well as Geometry, four years. During my time in Sinton, I was the Girl’s Head Basketball coach for 3 years and I was also the Girl’s Head Track coach for my final year there. When I left Sinton, I made another stop at Hondo ISD. In Hondo, I was an Algebra 1 teacher for three years and coached volleyball, basketball, and track throughout my time in Hondo.
I have been married to my husband, Daniel, for 9 years. We have three amazing little girls. Kaydance, 7, who will be attending FMC as a First grader. Emma, 4, will start PK at HMD. Ava, 1, will be attending day care.
